At Creative Studio, we strive to provide exceptional creative experiences through our workshops, private lessons, and mobile creative stations. This Return and Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns for our services.

Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Customer Cancellations

You may cancel your booking subject to the following terms:

  • More than 7 days before the scheduled date: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • 4-7 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund
  • Less than 4 days before the scheduled date: No refund, but you may transfer your booking to another person
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: No refund

2.2 How to Cancel

To cancel a booking, please contact us at least 4 days before your scheduled session using our contact form or by calling +64 6 758 3128. Cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation within the timeframes specified above
  • If we cancel a workshop or lesson due to circumstances beyond our control (see Section 4)
  • If you are unable to attend due to documented medical emergency or family emergency
  • If we are unable to provide the service as described

3.2 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing times may vary:

  • Credit/Debit card refunds: 5-10 business days
  • Bank transfer refunds: 3-5 business days
  • Cryptocurrency refunds: As per the payment address provided (chat@tlaxyrontykharau.world)

3.3 Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Materials fees for workshops already attended
  • Administrative fees
  • Gift vouchers (subject to expiry terms)
  • Completed private lesson sessions

4. Cancellations by Creative Studio

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops, lessons, or events due to:

  • Insufficient enrollment (minimum participant requirements)
  • Instructor illness or emergency
  • Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

In such cases, we will:

  • Provide at least 24 hours' notice when possible
  • Offer a full refund or reschedule to a convenient date
  • Provide alternative options when available

5. Transfer and Rescheduling

5.1 Transferring Bookings

You may transfer your booking to another person at no additional charge, provided you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

5.2 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 4 days before the original scheduled date. We will accommodate rescheduling requests subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply if the request is made less than 4 days before the original date.

6. Private Lessons

Private lesson bookings are subject to the following specific terms:

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Cancellation 24-48 hours in advance: 50% refund or reschedule with 50% fee
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours: No refund, but rescheduling may be available with full payment
  • No-show: Full charge, no refund or reschedule

7. Mobile Creative Stations

Bookings for mobile creative stations for events are subject to separate terms:

  • More than 14 days before event: Full refund minus 15% deposit
  • 7-14 days before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before event: No refund, but services may be transferable to another date

Custom event bookings may have specific terms outlined in your booking agreement.

8. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Expired vouchers cannot be used or refunded.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your experience, please contact us within 7 days of your workshop or lesson. We will work with you to address your concerns and may offer:

  • A complimentary make-up session
  • A partial refund
  • Credit toward future services

Our satisfaction guarantee does not apply to circumstances beyond our control or if the service was provided as described.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a refund or cancellation, please contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue. We are committed to fair resolution of all disputes.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, you may have rights under New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

11. Special Circumstances

We understand that special circumstances may arise. In cases of documented medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances, we may make exceptions to our standard refund policy. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

13. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
